Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage
Course overview
Deep tissue Massage is a very specific treatment, and we will show you how to work below the superficial connective tissue
Deep tissue massage is more than just a massage with deep pressure. The goals and techniques are quite different. The intent is to break up old structural and habitual patterns, this will allow the free flow of oxygen and nutrients to the body to help heal the tissues quickly and allow the muscles to breathe again.
On this 1 day course we will learn a number of Deep Tissue Massage techniques, and examine the theory and practise of Neuro–Muscular Techniques such as trigger point therapy and palpation skills.
The course aims to help you develop and advance your massage techniques, enabling you to be more confident and specific in your treatments.
This gives the potential to expand your client base as you will be able to offer more than just a relaxing massage. You will be able to treat clients with muscular pain and tenderness and lack of flexibility with more confidence.
