Emergency First Aid at Work - 1 Day (EFAW)
(RQF Level 3 award)
8 Hours training
About the course
We aim to support you in becoming an emergency first aider in the workplace.
The content of the course meets the HSE and RQF requirements for training emergency first-aiders. Your first aid needs assessment would have identified that someone should be trained to this level.
The qualification covers knowledge such as; the roles and responsibilities of the first aider; how to assess an incident and recognise signs and symptoms of injury and illness; first aid skills in CPR; the use of an AED; providing first aid to a casualty who is choking; dealing with external bleeding and shock.
In line with guidance provided by the HSE and RQF, the qualification supports/approves work place first aiders for a period of 3 years, after which point learners will need to retake the course.
We highly recommend that you refresh your first aid knowledge annually.
When you train with us you can be sure that you’re getting the best training to meet your individual needs.
