We have planned that on each session you will always learn and cover new techniques and exercises.
Should you decide to attend all 7 sessions, you will have a complete set of Shaolin NeiGong QiGong, and Tuina practical tools, to use in clinic for you and your patients. This course is importantly underpinned by QiGong training and practice which is taught throughout each of the module / weekends.

- Key concepts and skills of common Tuina techniques.
- The application of the techniques covered on the syllabus
- The appropriate application of combined techniques with the monitoring of therapeutic outcomes.
- Diagnostic and treatment methods for common disorders using Tuina.
- The application of Tuina for disease prevention, and health preservation.
- The indications and the contraindications to tuina.
On each module / weekend you will learn a number of the 22 of the Tuina techniques, the 28 treatment routines to help you treat 28 common ailments, covering 10 subject areas. All of the above are covered if you attend all 7 sessions.
Each module / weekend has 4 hours of structured Qi gong covering the Shaolin Nei Gong style, giving you essential physical training for Tuina practice. Regular and appropriately devised exercise have been designed to enhance your constitution and provide you with the physical strength and resilience required for clinical practice.

As an attendee you are expected to have a background in
- Traditional Chinese / East Asian medicine,
- have a working knowledge of the channel meridian system, and acupuncture points
- should be trained in anatomy and physiology to level 4 or above.
- As such you could be a member of the BAcC, ATCMA, AACP, BMAS, RCHM, Shiatsu etc.
You should be familiar with the following key concepts and characteristics of TCM theory;
- Yin-yang,
- 5 elements,
- The 12 Zang-Fu organs
- Qi, blood and body fluids,
- Aetiology and pathogenesis;
- Diagnosis in TCM, including:
- The four diagnostic methods (inspection, auscultation and olfaction, inquiring and palpation)
- Differentiation of syndromes (identification of syndromes according to the eight guiding principles and zang-fu)
- Principles and methods for prevention and treatment

- You will need to bring a pen or pencil, we will be providing everything else; full colour course notes, all of the training equipment etc.
- These are very practical and hands on courses.
- You will be expected to work in pairs and on each other throughout each weekend.
- Tuina is practised through loose comfortable clothing and so you are asked to ensure that you wear this type of clothing for the course
- Due to the very hands on practical nature of each session the minimum number of attendees required to run each session is 6
- There will be a maximum of 16 attendees per weekend session this will ensure that you receive high quality observation, tuition and feedback.
- There will be a maximum of 8:1 student teacher ratio.
- All training will be undertaken in a covid secure manner appropriate with any governmebt guidence at the time of the course

We will ask anyone who is unwell with symptoms of Covid-19 to not attend the course
The temperature of each attendee will be taken, using a hands-free thermometer, before the course commences.
If any person develops any Covid symptoms during the course they shall be asked to leave immediately, and asked to seek appropriate medical advice.
The seating in any breakout areas and training rooms will be 2 metres apart to allow social distancing on the arrival and throughout the day.
Attendees numbers on any particular course will reflect the training area available.
Whenever reasonably practical, social distancing will be maintained except where necessary for training and assessment purposes.
For sessions of training and assessment where it is necessary to come within 2 metres of other learners appropriate PPE will be provided
Small groups will be kept together to minimise the number of people with whom learners come into close contact with.
We encourage regular use of hand washing facilities and provide alcohol-based hand sanitisers in each training room for regular use.
We encourage the regular cleaning of manakins during the course and manakin cleaning facilities will be provided to each leaner.
We have rigorous cleaning and sanitising procedures for all of our training equipment, and it is thoroughly cleaned before and after each training course.
