About CPDG Limited
In 2007 Paul was asked by a group of acupuncture graduates from the University of Westminster to bespoke design and run an ear acupuncture course for them. He ran a practical hands on 2-day course which was unique, and met all of the learning needs of the whole group. After running this course he realised that there was a need for unique bespoke CPD courses, where experts can teach and share their skills, cross fertilising their disciplines. The decision to form the Company was made.
He is currently chair of the professional standards and regulatory committee of the British Acupunctue Council.
He has worked as a practitioner and tutor in complementary and alternative healthcare for over 26 years, and still practices Acupuncture, Tuina, Remedial massage, Qi Gong and dietary therapy in Kent. He set up and still runs the New Ash Green Rugby Club treatment team, to his knowledge the UK’s only multi-disciplinary, multi-bed unit, now into its 12th playing season. This season there were 9 practitioners, covering 5 professions sharing skills and working together, treating male and female senior and junior club players.
His fascination with mature student learning saw him gain a masters in education 2012, and his special interest in Microsystems acupuncture saw him sit as secretary to the Microsystems Acupuncture Regulatory Working Group (MACRWG), driving 12 stakeholder groups into entry with the CNHC as the Microsystems Acupuncture profession in 2011. The CNHC is an Accredited Register under the Professional Standards Authority.
The company design and deliver unique CPD courses for the healthcare sector throughout the UK, and abroad.
